NFIB WA PAC will not endorse any candidate until after the state’s candidate-filing and withdrawal period has ended.
Candidate Information for NFIB WA PAC Endorsements
- Legislative incumbents seeking re-election are evaluated based on their voting record score. The most recent two-year voting record is used for house races; senate incumbents are scored over their current four-year term.
- For challenger and open seat races, the NFIB WA PAC will identify key legislative districts where an opportunity exists to elect an ally of small business. Selected challengers and candidates for open seats in targeted districts will be invited to complete a questionnaire.
- If it appears multiple candidates for the same position have small-business experience, or otherwise demonstrated strong support for NFIB and small-business priorities, NFIB WA PAC will likely wait to issue endorsements until after the Primary Election.
