Rhode Island Capitol Update

NFIB State Director Christopher Carlozzi testified before the House Committee on Labor opposing bills allowing striking workers to collect unemployment insurance benefits.

Save The Date: May 6th, 2025

NFIB and small business organizations are meeting in Albany on May 6 to advocate for the elimination of credit card swipe fees on sales tax and gratuities. Legislators need to hear directly from the small business owners who are hit with these fees to fully understand how much they need this relief.

Beacon Hill Update

Last week the Massachusetts legislature commenced with hearings after a very slow start to the year. NFIB provided testimony on two bills.
