Ohio Small Businesses Endorse U.S. Senator Jon Husted for Re-Election

COLUMBUS, Ohio (March 5, 2026) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Senator Jon Husted for re-election to the United States Senate to represent Ohio.

“Jon Husted has been a true, long-time friend of small businesses in Ohio,” said Jared Weiser, NFIB Ohio State Director. “At the Ohio Statehouse, he had a 100% NFIB voting record, and his work jumpstarted Ohio’s economic turnaround. As Secretary of State, he made Ohio the quickest and least costly state in the Midwest to start and maintain a business. We know Senator Husted will continue to be a champion for the small business community in the U.S. Senate and we are confident Ohioans will join us in supporting his re-election in November.”

“Senator Husted has been a trusted small business advocate during his time in Congress,” said Louis Bertolotti, NFIB Acting Political Director. “He has a strong pro-small business voting record, including his vote to make the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent and his advocacy to repeal the invasive Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) mandate on small business owners. We are confident he will continue to be a small business ally in the U.S. Senate, and we are pleased to endorse him today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
