Statewide Radio, Digital Ads Urge Voters to Vote ‘YES’ on Prop 9 to Help Texas Main Streets Thrive

AUSTIN (Oct. 20, 2025) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the state’s leading small business advocacy organization, today released new paid advertisements featuring targeted radio ads and digital ads. The ads urge voters to vote ‘YES’ on Prop 9 to provide small business owners with much-needed inventory tax relief and help Texas Main Streets thrive.

“If approved by voters this November, Prop 9 would save Texas small businesses more than $500 million annually,” NFIB State Director Jeff Burdett said. “With those tax savings, small business owners are better positioned to expand their operations, raise their employees’ wages, and give back to our communities. It will also make Texas more competitive with neighboring states.

“Now, it’s up to you, the voter, to make sure this tax relief becomes a reality and is enshrined in the Texas Constitution,” Burdett continued. “Make your plan to vote ‘YES’ on Prop 9 today.”

NFIB’s 30-second ad will run on top radio stations beginning October 20, through Election Day, November 4.

You can vote early Monday, Oct. 20 – Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. Check out NFIB’s new Voting Hub where you can sign up for election reminders and find your nearest polling location.
