HENRIETTA (Oct. 29, 2025) – In a letter to the editor of the Wichita Falls Times Record NewsNFIB Small Business Owner Connie Ellis urges Texans to vote ‘YES’ on Prop 9 this November to provide small businesses relief from the inventory tax.

Describing the challenge the inventory tax poses to small business owners in the Lone Star State, Ellis writes:

We are committed to excellence despite any challenge we may face. We and every other business face many challenges over time, yet a huge challenge that small business owners here in Texas face is the business personal property tax, also known as the inventory tax. But Texas voters have an opportunity to provide immediate, meaningful relief from the inventory tax by voting yes on Proposition 9 this November.”
