Wisconsin’s Small Business Community Endorses Derrick Van Orden

LA CROSSE, Wis. (Sept. 22, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Derrick Van Orden for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District. The endorsement was announced at a campaign event hosted at NFIB member small business St. Joseph Equipment, Inc. in La Crosse.

“Derrick Van Orden is a former small business owner and understands how burdensome government regulations can negatively impact a small business,” said Bill G. Smith, NFIB Wisconsin State Director. “He has pledged to focus on lessening those regulations and fighting high taxes. We are confident that he will be a pro-small business vote in Congress, and we look forward to working with him.”

“Derrick Van Orden has a clear understanding of what it takes to operate a small business,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He will be a strong advocate for Wisconsin’s small businesses in Congress. We are pleased to endorse him today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
