Where Are You on Wage and Hour, FAMLI Requirements?

Are you up to speed on the state’s wage-and-hour requirements? How about the new FAMLI program that went into effect earlier this year? NFIB Colorado invites all small business owners, whether members or not, to a free webinar on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. featuring:
  • Scott Moss, director of the Division of Labor Standards and Statistics at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE)
  • Cher Haavind, CDLE executive director and communications officer
  • Tracy Marshall, CDLE director of the state paid medical and family leave unit

The first Capitol building in Montgomery, Alabama was built in 1847, and was destroyed by fire in 1849. The current State Capitol was built on the previous Capitol's foundations, and was completed in 1851. The building has grown over time with an east wing added to the buildings rear in 1885, a south wing in 1906, a matching north wing in 1912, and along with a complete renovation to the whole building a modern addition to the rear in 1992.
