WATCH: Tennessee Works Tax Act Helps Small Businesses

The state Department of Revenue recently produced a video featuring NFIB member Derek Scott, owner of LSXceleration LLC in Atoka. In the clip, the Tipton County entrepreneur explains what the Tennessee Works Tax Act means to his small business. The legislation reduced taxes by more than $400 million, making it one of the largest tax cuts in Tennessee history. A major part of the measure provides tax relief for small businesses. “Anytime you can save taxes, it allows you to invest in people and product,” Scott says. “It’ll help us put money back into the company.” Watch the clip below.
