Want to Share Your Views on Workers’ Comp. Issues?

Join NFIB in helping a coalition partner with a 10-minute survey.

How well do you think the workers’ compensation system is working?

The “grand bargain” of the 113-year-old system sounds simple enough: employers pay 100% of the costs for medical treatment, rehabilitation and lost wages for workers injured on the job, regardless of fault. In exchange, workers do not have to pursue legal action to be compensated for injuries or illnesses caused by work.
But time, bureaucratic inefficiencies, politics, and abuses by many players combine to take their toll on something as straightforward as workers’ comp.

That’s why NFIB is encouraging our members to take this brief, online survey.

The survey is hosted by the Workers’ Compensation Action Network, one of our partner organizations in Sacramento. WCAN is an employer-insurer coalition that has been active in workers’ compensation issues in California for the past 20 years.

The survey is completely anonymous. No individual information will be collected or shared as part of this survey. The aggregate results will be shared with our organization and be used to inform how we prioritize issues, support system features that are working well, and identify employer “pain points.”

Please note that some of the questions ask about recent trends with claims and costs. If you don’t have access to this information, you may want to work with your insurance provider, broker or claims administrator to answer.

Thank you, in advance, for taking a few minutes to complete this survey.
