Rep.-elect Messmer was featured on the latest episode of NFIB’s podcast

Indiana’s own U.S. Rep.-elect Mark Messmer (IN-08) joined a recent episode of NFIB’s Small Business Rundown to discuss why he decided to run for office, his experience in the Indiana General Assembly and as a small business owner, and his small business priorities for Congress.

“Small business owners have a great perspective on how business, the business world operates. And small businesses employ about 75-80% across the state [of Indiana] and across the country,” said Rep. Messmer.

He continued, “You really have to factor in the impact of laws and regulations and how it impacts a small business. I think the more small business owners we have, the better job the government would do. And at the state level, the majority of our members of the House and Senate are small business owners and why we operate so effectively at the state level.”
