Two Ohio Leadership Council Members Honored

At Ohio’s recent Leadership Council meeting, NFIB State Director Chris Ferruso presented two longstanding members with a special plaque to commemorate their years of service to the organization. Chris Ellis, owner of Helping Hands Healthcare, Inc. and Ron Klamert, owner of Logistic Concepts, Inc. have been very active within NFIB, providing valuable input, time, and expertise over the years. Both will be closing or selling their small business and therefore resigning from the Leadership Council. It was a bittersweet last meeting for both small business owners, who have owned and grown their companies for decades.

Logistic Concepts has been an outspoken shipper’s advocate since their founding in 1988. They work with medium, large and enterprise level manufacturing, distribution, retail and institutional shippers across diverse industries. Ron Klamert helped start the small business. He’s a thirty-seven year veteran with experience in Transportation, Distribution, Warehousing and Supply Chain Management and a practicing consultant since 1987. He will be closing the doors to his small business, Logistic Concepts, at the end of November.
