TN Launches Modernized UI Tax System

TN Launches Modernized UI Tax System

May 30, 2025

New platform offers real-time account access, mobile-friendly design, and enhanced security for small business owners

Tennessee has fully modernized its unemployment system with the implementation of unemployment tax functionality on jobs4TN.gov.

If you previously filed premium and wage reports or payments through the TNPAWS or Third Party Upload Systems (TPU), you can now perform those functions through the new Employer e-Services portal on jobs4TN.gov.

The new system is designed to help employers by:

  • Providing employers with access to their account information within the system.
  • Improving the registration process by assisting an Employer with their Account ID in real time, eliminating “applied for” status, and providing customers immediate access to their account. Providing customers with clear navigation features for viewing account status, conducting transactions, finding historical information, and corresponding with the agency.
  • Offering a responsive web design allowing customers to access the interface on virtually any platform, screen size, or mobile device.
  • Including a virtual assistant that can help answer questions in real time.

If you already have a state unemployment account number with Tennessee, you can register now for a web logon to gain access to the new system.
