The Florida Legislature is considering unemployment benefits legislation
Florida lawmakers are considering legislation that would require unemployment beneficiaries to prove that they are searching for employment and would disqualify them if they do not accept offered employment. The legislation, HB 191 & SB 216, would create a hotline where small businesses could volunteer information on suspicious unemployment claims.
