State Director Tray Abney Talks Politics and the 2024 Election with Kevin Wall

Spreading the small business word is one of the jobs of NFIB’s state directors across the nation. On July 27, NFIB Nevada State Director Tray Abney gave listeners of the Kevin Wall Show, AM 670 in Las Vegas, his analysis on what just transpired in the Nevada Legislature and what lawmakers in Carson City and in Congress must contend with in the year before the 2024 election. In the segment, which starts at the 15:05-minute mark in Part 1, Abney, among other things, discusses the Commerce Tax, Gov. Joe Lombardo’s record 75 vetoes, education funding, and government reorganization. “There’s definitely more partisanship on both sides,” said Abney. “We didn’t have a long wish list, we just worried about stopping a lot of things.” Part 2 of the interview lasts just a minute.
