Small Businesses Endorse Senator Ron Johnson for Re-Election

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Senator Ron Johnson for re-election to the United States Senate. NFIB announced the endorsement at a campaign event held at NFIB member small business Rolling Threads Unlimited in Waukesha. “Senator Ron Johnson is a proven advocate of Wisconsin’s small businesses,” said Bill G. Smith, NFIB Wisconsin State Director. “His leadership was critical to delivering the Section 199A Small Business Deduction passed in 2017, which has been beneficial for Main Street small businesses across the country. Senator Johnson has been a champion for regulatory reform and a pro-small business environment, earning a 94% NFIB voting term record. We look forward to continuing to work with him.” “We are proud to endorse Senator Johnson for re-election today,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “As a long-time small business owner, he understands the challenges facing small businesses and we are confident he will continue to be a strong small business ally in the Senate.” The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
