Small Business to General Assembly: Let’s Help All of Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK (Jan. 9, 2023) – As the Arkansas General Assembly gavels into its 94th legislative session today, NFIB State Director Katie Burns issued the following statement urging legislators to keep small businesses’ interests in mind. “We are thrilled to welcome a new term of senators and representatives to Little Rock (just trying to acknowledge that we have a fair amount of new folks and a fresh term). From passing tax relief to bolstering our skilled workforce, legislators have an opportunity to address some of the challenges our small business owners face and stabilize our economic recovery. Helping Main Street helps all of Arkansas, which is why NFIB looks forward to working with Governor-elect Sanders and legislators to continue to make the Natural State a friendly place to own, operate, and grow a small business.”
