Lt. Gov. Burt Jones' legislation would reduce costs and for Georgia's small businesses

NFIB State Director Hunter Loggins released the following statement today in response to Lt. Gov. Burt Jones’ “Red Tape Rollback Act of 2025.”

The legislation builds on the work done during the 2024 session to cut government regulation, boost small businesses, and expand economic opportunities throughout Georgia:

“Reducing red tape is one of NFIB’s top priorities in this year’s session of the General Assembly. Main Street businesses are under tremendous economic pressure right now. Inflation continues to drive up the cost of doing business, and employers are still struggling to fill vacant positions.

“The Red Tape Rollback Act of 2025 would bring even more commonsense reforms to state government and make it easier for our members to own, operate, and grow their businesses.”
