Gov. Morrisey delivered his first State of the State address

Following Governor Patrick Morrisey’s State of the State address, NFIB West Virginia State Director Gil White issued a statement applauding his commitment to strengthening the small business economy.

“West Virginia small business owners welcome Governor Morrisey’s plans to strengthen the economy and make our government more efficient. Small businesses throughout the state are managing economic challenges like the rising costs of business expenses and an ongoing worker shortage, so owners are hopeful that Gov. Morrisey and the Legislature will avoid any policies or regulations that will exacerbate those challenges. We look forward to working with Gov. Morrisey and the members of the Legislature this session.”
