The latest NFIB Small Business Optimism Index shows rising prices remain the No. 1 challenge for Main Street businesses. “Small business is the backbone of Tennessee’s economy, but they have faced significant challenges this year as inflation has driven up prices across the board,” Brown said. “Shopping at small, independent businesses will support our friends and neighbors and help our communities remain strong.”
