NFIB Wisconsin PAC Endorses Michels

The NFIB Wisconsin political action committee, NFIB WI PAC, announced today it has endorsed Tim Michels for Governor and Roger Roth for Lieutenant Governor. The endorsement comes after a poll of small business members in the state, a vote of approval from NFIB’s state PAC Board and its Leadership Council. NFIB’s National Board, made up of small-business owners from around the country, has also given Tim Michels endorsement a thumbs up.   “Tim Michels and Roger Roth understand the issues small business cares about, and we know they will provide the leadership needed to address the historic economic challenges small businesses face up and down the Main Streets throughout our state,” said Bill G. Smith, NFIB State Director in Wisconsin, “Michels and Roth have the experience of owning and operating a business, taking on risk, creating jobs, and understand how government spending and taxes impact the ability of small business to grow and be successful.”   NFIB WI PAC supports candidates who are committed to making Wisconsin a better place to do business. The Governor plays a key role in defending the right of small business owners to open, operate, and grow their own businesses.   Candidate endorsements are determined by the NFIB WI PAC Board and the nearly 10,000 small business members from around the state.   The NFIB WI PAC endorsement is an important gauge to voters across the state that a candidate will stand with small business.
