NFIB Virtual Event: Vermont Saves – What You Need to Know to Comply!

Join NFIB for a virtual event about Vermont Saves, the new state-mandated retirement program that will affect small businesses across Vermont and create new administrative challenges for employers. We will be joined by Becky Wasserman from the Office of the State Treasurer to learn about the program, employer administrative duties, important deadlines, and more.

>>>>> REGISTER TODAY!

The Vermont Saves program establishes a retirement savings plan for Vermonters who are not currently offered a retirement plan through their employer. The program will automatically enroll workers who do not have access to a retirement plan through their employer in a Roth IRA account. Contributions to the account will be deducted automatically from workers’ paychecks. Employees can set their own contribution rate, or use the program default, and can opt out of the program if they choose. This event is FREE but advanced registration is required. The link to join will be provided the day of the event. If you need help registering or would like to submit questions ahead of time, please reach out to Grassroots Manager Julianna Rauf at julianna.rauf@nfib.org.
