NFIB Virginia Digital Ad Campaign Reaches 3 Million

In the past month, the National Federation of Independent Business Virginia PAC’s statewide digital campaign reminding Virginians to vote early has reached nearly 3 million Virginians on computers, smart phones, social media sites and web browsers. On October 4th, NFIB launched its effort to educate Virginians about early voting. The campaign and early voting ended Saturday, November 4th. NFIB supports candidates who support small business. NFIB’s efforts seem to be paying off. Numbers show 776,931 Virginians have already cast their ballot. That’s over FIVE times the number of early voters than in 2019, when 144,360 early votes were cast. “We want Virginians to know the power of their vote,” said NFIB State Director Julia Hammond. “Small business owners are concerned about the Commonwealth’s economic future. They are pessimistic about the economy and worried about growing sales. However, they can alter Virginia’s path now by electing leaders who understand that the answer lies in lowering taxes and cutting red tape. With their vote, Virginians will decide if they’re happy with the status quo, or if they want things in Richmond to change. Small business owners, frustrated that it took 6 months for lawmakers to pass a budget this year, were then disappointed by a one-time rebate instead of reoccurring tax cuts. The NFIB Virginia PAC endorsed candidates who understand that giving Virginians back more of their hard-earned money and the ability to reinvest and grow their business is the key to strengthening the state’s economy. Virginia needs leaders with experience managing a budget, making smart financial decisions and supporting small businesses. Our economy isn’t the only thing at stake here  – the affordibility, competitive edge, and overall quality of life in the Commonwealth are all tied to the success of our mom-and-pop shops,” said Hammond. NFIB’s digital ads connected Virginians to three informational pages, one for Northern Virginia, Central Virginia, and a third for the Hampton Roads area. There, voters can access a summary of issues important to small businesses and a list of candidates endorsed by the NFIB Virginia PAC. Election Day is Tuesday, November 7th.
