NFIB will continue fighting in Illinois for pro-small business policies

NFIB Illinois State Director Noah Finley released the following statement after Governor J.B. Pritzker’s State of the State Address to the General Assembly.

“Illinois small businesses have been hit hard by rising electricity prices, soaring health-insurance premiums, workforce shortages, and expensive minimum-wage and paid-leave mandates,” said Finley. “Bottom line, it’s too expensive to run a small business in this state. NFIB calls on the governor and General Assembly to alleviate the tax burden on small businesses, cut burdensome red-tape and costly mandates, and make Illinois a friendlier place for Main Street businesses.”
