NFIB members from throughout the state gathered in Tallahassee on Feb. 13 for NFIB’s annual Small Business Day at the Capitol. This year’s event was held at the Governor’s Club.

“Small Business Day gives our members the opportunity to hear directly from elected officials about the issues affecting Main Street businesses,” NFIB State Executive Director Bill Herrle said.

Following the morning session, NFIB members walked to the State Capitol, where they engaged with lawmakers and met with Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The night before Small Business Day, NFIB members met at the Governor’s Club for the annual Boots & Business Dinner. The evening’s keynote speaker was U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds.

“On behalf of our members, I want to thank Congressman Donalds, Governor DeSantis, and all of the leaders who took the time to attend these events and engage with our members,” Herrle said. “I always want to thank our members for coming and speaking out on the issues affecting their businesses. NFIB is the voice of small business, but without our members, our voice won’t be heard.”
