NFIB Members Gather for Small Business Day in Salem

February 5, 2024 Last Edit: June 5, 2025

Representatives Shelley Boshart Davis, Kevin Mannix address small business owners.

NFIB once again delivered for its members on its annual, signature event: Small Business Day at the Capitol, January 25. Attendees included NFIB Leadership Council members, NFIB member-activists, NFIB staff and guest speakers, including;

  • Rep. Shelly Boshart Davis (District 15 – Albany)
  • Rep. Kevin Mannix (District 21 – Salem)

We previewed the 2024 Legislative session with discussions about the bills we’re supporting, opposing, and monitoring and held a Q & A session with the guest speakers. NFIB Senior Grassroots Program Manager Stacy Jenkins spoke to members about how telling their story makes an impact. This was followed by a great lunch from a locally owned Hawaiian restaurant and a tour of the State Capitol. Couldn’t make it this year? Make a mental note to join us next when a new post-election legislature convenes for business.
