NFIB Director Speaks at GA Small Business Summit

Holly Wade, executive director of the NFIB Research Center, delivered the keynote address at this year’s Georgia Future of Small Business Summit.

“Small businesses are the backbone of Georgia’s economy,” Wade told about 100 business leaders who gathered on July 16 at Invesco’s Atlanta headquarters.

Wade said small businesses “create jobs and strengthen our communities. We must provide these entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Investing in small businesses isn’t just about supporting individual owners; it’s about building a strong and resilient economy that benefits everyone.”

In addition, Brian Mayfield, owner of Techquidation, an NFIB member business in Woodstock, participated in a panel discussion on the challenges facing Georgia’s small business community.

NFIB and the Georgia Chamber Foundation were the summit’s presenting partners. The event was hosted by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
