New MI Unemployment System Launch Delayed for Early 2026

MiUI will now launch in early 2026 for employers

The Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency has announced its new tax and benefits system, MiUI, will now launch in early 2026. MiUI is replacing the current Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM).

MiUI was originally expected to go into mid-December 2025 but had to be pushed back due to technical issues. All employers should be sure to register for the new system, so they are prepared to make the switch quickly.

More information will be provided soon about filing fourth quarter wage and tax reports, due Jan. 26, 2026.
