New York legislators need to understand the impact taxes, regulations, and mandates have on small businesses

NFIB will be hosting 2026 Small Business Day on March 17th in Albany. Small Business Day is an opportunity to engage your legislators alongside fellow New York small business owners and business community partners. Now, more than ever, legislators need to understand the impact taxes, regulations, and mandates have on your business. Small Business Day is an opportunity to put a face on Main Street and protect your right to own, operate, and grow your small business in New York.

Guest speakers include Senator George Borrello, a small business owner, NFIB member, and member of the Senate Commerce, Economic Development and Small Business, and Finance Committees, and Assemblymember Marianne Buttenschon, Chair of the Assembly Small Business Committee.

Don’t miss your opportunity to speak directly to legislators representing you! This event is free, but advanced registration is required. More details are to follow. Please contact Bre Mapston Bre.Mapston@NFIB.ORG for any questions.
