Do you feel Massachusetts is heading in the wrong direction? That taxes are too high? That a $20 minimum wage should be out of the question? That the state should help pay for the UI mess it created?  Save the date for Small Business Day on Beacon Hill on Wednesday, May 24th. The event is free to attend! >> REGISTER HERE << Now is your chance to voice concerns directly to state lawmakers. Labor activists, unions, and other groups routinely fill the halls of the State House loudly demanding tax increases and new restrictions on businesses. We ask that small business owners take one day out of your extremely busy schedules to visit Boston and make your voice heard on key issues too. The agenda will include: – Refreshments and Welcome – Legislative Update: Taxes, Healthcare, Labor Mandates, Energy, and More! – Panel Discussion on Energy Costs – Keynote Speaker (TBD) – Visits with Legislators in the State House SPEAKERS
  • Christopher Carlozzi, State Director, NFIB
  • Jon Hurst, President, Retailers Association of Massachusetts
  • Stephen Clark, President & CEO, Massachusetts Restaurant Association
  • Representative Jeffrey N. Roy, House Chair of the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities, and Energy
  • Bill Ryan, Massachusetts Coalition for Sustainable Energy
Again, this event is FREE to attend, thanks to a sponsorship from Enbridge Inc. Guests are welcome and encouraged! Please mark May 24th on your calendar for Small Business Day and stay tuned for additional updates. To learn more or to register, click HERE.
