The events give owners the chance to engage with their legislators

NFIB is partnering with the Louisiana Retailers Association to host small business town halls in Shreveport on Sept. 23 and Lafayette on Sept. 25.

“This is a great opportunity for members to learn more about what’s happening in Baton Rouge and talk to their legislators about the challenges facing their businesses,” NFIB State Director Leah Long said.

Shreveport

The free Shreveport luncheon will be held Tuesday, Sept. 23, with Sen. Alan Seabaugh, Rep. Michael Echols and Rep. Michael Melerine. Business owners will be able to take part in an open conversation about labor, employment and other issues affecting their operations. Click here to register.

Lafayette

The Lafayette meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 25, with Rep. Josh Carlson, Rep. Troy Hebert, Rep. Annie Spell and Sen. Mike Reese. Attendees will hear directly from lawmakers about what’s happening at the state capitol. Click here to register.

There is no better way to learn what’s happening in Louisiana than by talking with your legislators, and this is your chance to speak with them face-to-face about the challenges facing small business.

Space is limited, so register today to reserve your spot.
