Iowa Small Business Owners: Help Legislators Understand Unemployment Benefits

The newly introduced legislation will reduce unemployment benefits from 6 months to 4 months, help Iowans get back to work quicker, and fill the tens of thousands of job openings in our state. It will also add a one-week waiting period for unemployment benefits that will save employers over $100 million dollars a year and reduce fraud in the unemployment system. It is important you contact your State Senator today and ask them to pass this critical workforce legislation and get Iowans back to work and keep Iowa’s economy moving forward.
