Illinois: Look for the NFIB 2024 State Ballot

NFIB’s 2024 state ballot went out to NFIB members via email on January 4.

NFIB’s 2024 state ballot went out to NFIB members via email on January 4. Members may also click here and log in to vote.

On this ballot, members have the opportunity to express their views on issues such as:

1. Whether Illinois should extend unemployment benefits to striking workers

2. Whether Illinois should increase its estate tax exemption

3. Whether Illinois should raise the minimum wage for tipped workers to match the minimum wage for non-tipped workers

4. Whether Illinois should prohibit employers from holding mandatory employee meetings

As a member-driven organization, NFIB regularly surveys its members to gauge where they stand on important issues facing small businesses. The results of these surveys drive NFIB’s positions.
