ICYMI: NFIB Hosts Roundtable in North Dakota with Members of Congress

May 5, 2026

Representative Fedorchak and Senator Hoeven joined small business owners in Mandan to discuss taxes, fees, and healthcare in North Dakota

On Monday, May 4th, NFIB hosted a Small Business Roundtable Discussion with Representatives Julie Fedorchak and Senator John Hoeven at Balancing Goat Coffee Co.

NFIB, Rep. Finstad, and attendees discussed how the 20% Small Business Deduction now being permanent has helped small business owners gain more certainty and reinvest in their business and employees.

Small business owners also voiced their concerns about the cost of healthcare and credit card swipe fees, many expressing how both issues are cutting into their profits.

For questions about the event or if you’re interested in holding a roundtable in your town, please contact Grassroots Manager Ben Abrahamson at 218-969-5121 or at ben.abrahamson@nfib.org.
