ICYMI: Indiana Gov. Braun Announces Investment in Affordable Child Care

May 5, 2026

NFIB supports the FROG Fund Investment

Governor Braun recently announced an investment of $200 million to expand affordable child care for Hoosiers. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Indiana’s child care system reached a breaking point, and Governor Braun has made this issue a priority for his administration.

NFIB supports the initiative, with NFIB Indiana State Director Natalie Carroll saying, “This FROG Fund Investment is great news for Indiana and for the small businesses we represent. Affordable, reliable child care keeps parents in the workforce, and that stability is essential for employers. This commitment strengthens families, supports our workforce, and helps small businesses grow.”
