NFIB Vice President Jeff Brabant talks to radio host Aaron Flint

“Montana is a huge small business state, as you know, so making these tax cuts permanent is a huge deal for Montana.”

So began Aaron Flint, host of Montana Talks on KBUL radio in Billings, in a May 13 interview with NFIB Vice President for Federal Government Relations Jeff Brabant about Congressional legislation making the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent.

“We’re looking at tens of millions of small businesses having a huge tax hike at the end of the year if Congress doesn’t get this tax bill done,” said Brabant about the deduction that so many Main Street enterprises have come to rely on to stay solvent. “And those are just small businesses at a time when their bigger business rivals won’t see a tax hike.”
