Governor Kemp Suspends Fuel Tax In Response to Tropical Storm Helene

NFIB State Director Hunter Loggins released the following statement today in response to Gov. Brian Kemp’s executive order suspending Georgia’s fuel tax through Oct. 9 in response to Tropical Storm Helene:

“The governor’s action helps everyone in Georgia, especially those who live, work, and do business in the areas affected by Tropical Storm Helene. Inflation continues to drive up the cost of fuel and everything else needed to run a small business, so Governor Kemp’s action will provide much-needed relief, helping to ease the financial burden on businesses and consumers alike.”
