Does Illinois Workers’ Compensation impact your Small Business? Let us know!

TAKE ACTION

This past year, the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission (IWCC) requested higher employer surcharges due to the commission’s projected budget shortfalls. In response, the Illinois General Assembly voted to adjust the employer assessments and indicated that it would reopen the debate next year regarding workers’ compensation funding, reforms, and benefits. NFIB, working with other business groups, will advocate for workers’ compensation reforms to prevent higher employer assessments. Your stories can help us make the case for employers in Springfield.
