COVID Update: New York City Dropping Vaccine Requirement for Indoor Dining & Entertainment on March 7th

New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that beginning Monday, March 7^th, New York City will no longer require anyone 5 or older to show proof of vaccination to enter restaurants, bars, gyms, and other indoor public spaces. An official announcement on the updated policy is expected on Friday, March 4^th. The Mayor’s announcement on vaccination requirements does not apply to the vaccine mandate for private-sector workers. As of this writing, all private-sector workers are required to be fully vaccinated. NFIB will continue to update members as the Mayor and New York City release additional information or any updated guidance.
