COVID Update: New York City Dropping Vaccine Requirement for Indoor Dining & Entertainment on March 7th

New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that beginning Monday, March 7th, New York City will no longer require anyone 5 or older to show proof of vaccination to enter restaurants, bars, gyms, and other indoor public spaces. An official announcement on the updated policy is expected on Friday, March 4th. The Mayor’s announcement on vaccination requirements does not apply to the vaccine mandate for private-sector workers. As of this writing, all private-sector workers are required to be fully vaccinated. NFIB will continue to update members as the Mayor and New York City release additional information or any updated guidance.
