The event gave members a chance to engage with lawmakers on banking and other issues

NFIB partnered with the Community Bankers Association of Georgia to host a small business roundtable today at the Valdosta Country Club.

The event brought small business owners and community bankers together with legislators to discuss tax changes and other issues important to Main Street businesses.

Joining NFIB Regional State Director Nathan Humphrey were state Rep. Chas Canon, Rep. John LaHood and Lori Godfrey, CBA’s executive vice president and chief of staff.

“We had a great meeting that gave our members a chance to engage with their legislators about some of the challenges facing them in these uncertain economic times,” Humphrey said.

In addition, Citizens Community Bank, co-founded by the Hollis family of Valdosta in 1927, was recogized for their 57 years as a member of NFIB. Click here to learn more.
