WATCH: New Braunfels Small Business Owner Urges Texas Legislature to Cut the Inventory Tax
“Our legislators need to know that we’re doing the best that we can. I don’t hold onto things because I want to or because I don’t need to sell it. A lot of times it’s the circumstances [that forces me to hold on to inventory], like the shortness of labor, or the price of the market went down in the metal commodities. It’s those kinds of things.”Now is the time to cut the inventory tax. We need your help to tell the small business story. If you’d like to share your story on why the Texas Legislature needs to cut the inventory tax, please contact Texas State Director Annie Spilman (annie.spilman@nfib.org).
