Annual event is an opportunity for NFIB members to meet with the state’s top policymakers
One of the bigger values in NFIB membership is the events the association holds for its members to meet with elected officials and top policymakers to discuss the issues affecting their right to own, operate, and grow their enterprises.
On February 4, NFIB is hosting a Small Business Day at the State Capitol in Salt Lake City. In addition to legislator meetings, guests include:
— Ryan Starks, Director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity
— Stephen Lisonbee, Senior Advisor for Rural Affairs for Gov. Spencer Cox
— Margaret Busse, Executive Director of the Utah Department of Commerce.
Some of the topics to be discussed include taxes, labor costs, and inflation. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the conversation, in person! Put a face to your business and make your legislators think of you every time they vote on policies that impact small businesses like yours.
There is no cost to attend but a reservation is required. Register here.
