SURVEY: AL Small Business Owners Growing More Optimistic

The results of the national NFIB Optimism Index are reflected in Alabama

NFIB State Director Rosemary Elebash says the national NFIB Optimism Index is a good reflection of what’s happening in Alabama.

State-specific data is unavailable, but Elebash said, “Small business owners are definitely more upbeat about the direction of the economy, and they’ll be even more optimistic if Congress makes the small business deduction permanent and repeals the Corporate Transparency Act, which will create burdensome beneficial ownership information reporting requirements for small businesses.”
