State Releases COVID-19 Signage for Small Businesses

Alabama’s statewide COVID-19 mask mandate expires at 5 p.m. on April 9, but Gov. Kay Ivey is encouraging people to continue wearing masks in public when social distancing isn’t possible.

“After April 9, masks will no longer be a mandate, but they remain one of the most successful tools we have to keep folks safe from COVID-19,” the governor said in a statement. “I hope these are helpful to businesses around the state as they set their own protocols to operate safely.”

The governor also has released signage for small business owners and other employers to encourage customers and workers to wear a mask to prevent the spread of deadly coronavirus.
