Spread Holiday Cheer by Shopping Small

The holiday season is all about giving back. And when seasonal customers shop small, they’re also supporting their communities. According to the City of San Antonio, which launched a “Buy Local” campaign in November, local business owners “donate nearly 2.5x more per employee to local charities.” With 68 cents of every dollar spent at a small business staying within the community, American Express estimates that shopping small creates “an additional 48 cents in business activity.” This holiday season, it’s our hope you’ll continue to spread cheer throughout the New Year by shopping small and supporting local businesses.
