Special Session on Tax Reform Delayed

Lawmakers were scheduled to return to Jefferson City next week to begin work on Gov. Mike Parson’s proposed $700 million tax cut, but Senate Majority Leader Caleb Rowden tweeted today that the special session had been pushed back at least a week. The veto session is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Sept. 14. NFIB is following the issue closely and will keep you informed about any changes that could affect you, your family, and your small business.
