Small Businesses Endorse Rep. French Hill for Re-Election

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Aug. 24, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Rep. French Hill for re-election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Arkansas’s 2nd Congressional District. The endorsement was announced today at a campaign event held at NFIB member small business Laser Tools Co. in Little Rock.

“Congressman French Hill is a tireless advocate for Arkansas’s small business owners,” said Sylvester Smith, NFIB Arkansas State Director. “From the moment he first set foot in Congress, our members have been able to count on Congressman Hill to stand for them on key issues such as lower taxation, ending excessive regulations, and healthcare reform. I am proud to once again offer NFIB’s support to this awesome Member of Congress.”

“As a former small business owner and community banker, I understand the vital role that small and independent businesses play in our communities and economy here in Arkansas. This is why I have fought for them since my first day in Congress,” said Congressman French Hill. “Today, these businesses are facing even more challenges due to inflation, disrupted supply chains, and labor market issues, which makes lowering taxes and removing burdensome regulations even more important if they are to continue to thrive. I thank the National Federation of Independent Business for its endorsement, and I look forward to continuing to work for Arkansas’s small businesses in Washington D.C.”

“Now more than ever, small business owners need dependable representation in Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “Congressman Hill has proven to be a supporter of small businesses, earning a 100% NFIB voting record during this current Congress. We are pleased to endorse him today for re-election and we are confident he will continue to be an ally of small businesses.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
