Small Businesses Applaud Gov. Moore’s Opposition to “Broad” B2B Tax

NFIB launched a campaign opposing tax increases on small businesses

NFIB Maryland State Director Mike O’Halloran issued the following statement in response to Governor Moore announcing his opposition to the B2B tax:

“It’s good to hear that small businesses’ strong opposition to this tax has reached the Governor. We’re equally thankful for his voice on this important matter. But the work is not done. Any tax that pushes Maryland further down the list of states to do business in shouldn’t be on the table in any form. Small businesses also remain concerned with a proposed increase to their personal income taxes. Such a hike would adversely impact those owners who file as pass through entities.”

NFIB recently launched a digital and radio advertising campaign opposing the proposed tax increases on small businesses.

Small business owners are encouraged to urge your legislators to STOP a tax increase on Main Street!
