BOISE, Idaho, Sept. 21, 2022—The political action committee for Idaho’s leading small-business association today announced its endorsements for governor and the Legislature. NFIB ID PAC gave its backing to Gov. Brad Little and 75 candidates for the Idaho Senate and Idaho House of Representatives.

“There has never been a time when small businesses have been buffeted more by so many bad external forces,” said Suzanne Budge, Idaho state director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), speaking for the PAC. “This perfect storm has included inflation, supply-chain disruptions, labor shortages, and every pandemic-related problem still with us. And, yet, through it all Governor Little and the Idaho Legislature have helped small businesses weather the storm through policies that have made these past four years historic for their protection of Main Street enterprises from insolvency and the hope they hold out for future growth.”

Endorsements of legislators were based on their voting records during the 2021-2022 session and for challengers and open-seat candidates based on their responses to a candidate questionnaire. The list of endorsed legislative candidates can be read here.
