Small Business Community Endorses 51 Arizona Legislative Candidates Ahead of General Election

PHOENIX (Aug. 22, 2024) – Following the endorsements announced before the primary election, the NFIB Arizona PAC approved the following slate of candidate endorsements for the general election. The political action committee, comprised solely of NFIB members throughout the state, endorsed 51 candidates running for the Arizona Legislature, including 16 candidates running for seats in the Senate and 35 candidates running for seats in the House of Representatives.

“Locally-owned businesses are the foundation of our state’s economy, creating good-paying jobs and thriving communities,” NFIB State Director Chad Heinrich said. “A recent NFIB survey found that inflation and health care costs are taking a serious toll on our small business owners. These candidates understand the challenges small business owners face and support policies that will make it easier to do business in our state.

“On behalf of our small business owner members, I’m proud to announce these endorsements for the 2024 general election, and ask all Arizonans to support these pro-small business candidates.”

Early voting begins on Wednesday, October 9. General Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. If you don’t know your legislative district, click here and enter your address to find your district. For more information on voter registration and other FAQs, visit the Secretary of State’s website.

The NFIB Arizona PAC’s endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in large numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls.

NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on key small-business issues.
